Cabinet Chair
The high back chair in the far left corner of the North Room was the chair Theodore Roosevelt sat in during cabinet meetings.
There is a small brass nameplate on the back of the chair engraved with TR's name and his political office, President of the United States 1902-1908.
Each member would have a nameplate for each position they held in a presidential cabinet. It’s a tradition that’s fairly unknown to the public.
